Therapy for Depression in London

Depression can drain the colour out of life. You might feel flat, numb or heavy, lose interest in things you used to enjoy, or find even small tasks exhausting. It can also make reaching out feel harder, which is why taking a first step matters. Therapy offers a confidential space to be honest about how things really are.

I am a BACP-accredited psychotherapist offering therapy in central London and online, working with adults experiencing depression and persistent low mood.

You might be experiencing

  • Low mood, sadness or emptiness that does not lift

  • Loss of interest or pleasure in things you used to enjoy

  • Tiredness, low energy or difficulty getting going

  • Sleeping too much or too little

  • Harsh self-criticism, guilt or a sense of worthlessness

  • Withdrawing from friends, family or relationships

  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions

  • Feeling stuck after a loss, change or difficult life event

How therapy can help

We start by understanding what you are going through, at your pace. Together we explore what may be contributing, from current pressures and losses to long-standing patterns, relationships and the way you speak to yourself.

My approach is integrative, so the work is shaped around you. It can include deeper work on self-criticism, grief or past experiences, alongside small, practical steps that help you reconnect with yourself and others. Work can be short-term or longer-term.
