Sexual difficulties are very common. They can affect anyone, at any age, single or in a relationship, yet they're often the hardest thing to talk about, even with a partner.

 

I am a BACP-accredited psychotherapist offering therapy in central London and online. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to talk openly about sex and whatever is getting in the way of a sex life that feels good to you.

Whatever it is, you won't shock me, and you don't need the right words. Many people start by saying "I don't really know how to explain this."

 

How therapy can help

Sex is shaped by much more than the body. Stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship tension, shame, past experiences and the messages we absorbed growing up all affect how we feel during sex.

 

Together we'll explore what's happening, both in the bedroom and in the rest of your life. The aim is to ease the pressure, understand what's underneath, and help you feel more relaxed, confident and connected.

• Recognised provider for insurers including AXA, Aviva and WPA
